Back country
airboat charters are provided by B&T Airboat Express, Inc.. These are
not your classic airboat rides where 10-20 people climb aboard a
large boat for 30 minute tour down the shoreline. The ride
experience provided by B&T is built around your private charter.
The ride takes place on a 13’ airboat powered by a 520 Continental
Aircraft engine. Seating is set up for 2-3 passengers, who are
bold enough to experience real Florida.
These tours provide
you the opportunity to view nature at its best. Take in some of the
natural plant and wildlife that Florida has to offer and
visit some of the beautiful springs near Big Lake George (the second
largest lake in Florida).
Plan your trip
according to your schedule. One hour is the minimal trip, and
this will afford you some beautiful sights. If you choose to go longer,
just book your time and let the captain know your pleasure. You may
want to go for a swim in the springs, or possibly pack a lunch to enjoy
at the springs or in the back country!!
